The Impossible Project/ 02.11.15
Unit Portables announce a collaboration camera bag with German inventive company The Impossible Project.
The Impossible Project have teamed up with Unit Portables to create the perfect bag for original, folding type Polaroid cameras. Unit Portables Carry Case, a carry case for all original Polaroid SX-70 and SLR 680 folding cameras.
Impossible first noticed Unit Portables when working with Teenage Engineering on a carrying solution for their OP-1 synth. Inspired by this, they contacted Unit Portables we and have since been working together to create a functional carry system for classic Polaroid cameras; putting a modern, functional twist on a classic product - an ethos we carry with us when developing new products.
The multi purpose bag has been designed to fit the 680, SX-70 and SX-70 Sonar original Polaroid folding cameras. A molded foam interior and adjustable inner strap ensures the camera is secured and protected, whilst the adjustable outer strap offers users different options for comfort and portability.
A small, removable pouch sits on the side of the bag, offering a place to hold photos and one pack of film. The pouch is also lined - enabling users to keep their developing photos protected from light and cold temperatures.
Available as of today, the bag can be purchased via Impossible’s website https://shop.the-impossible-project.com/shop and selected retailers at the price of €79 (or equivalent local currency).
